Chapter Fifteen
When she heard how enthusiastically Harry’s suggestion of a date night had been received, Caroline had subtly proposed that she take Joe out for the evening. Harry accepted gratefully.
Two nights later Harry was in the bedroom waiting for Lizzy to come out of the bathroom. They were alone in the house. He was wearing the trousers from Joe’s Santa suit with a belt that gathered the vast waist in around his lean frame. They looked like 1980’s parachute pants. His chest and feet were bare.
“Ready?” Lizzy called out through the closed door.
“Ready,” Harry called back.
