Chapter Ten Life settled into a new routine. Every day Harry left early for work, arriving home in time to help with dinner. Often he would take himself off after eating to continue working. Lizzy rarely appeared for breakfast now. She seemed more relaxed though, and spent her days at the library or window shopping and trying out the various local coffee shops. Caroline was irritated that her sister-in-law never did any food shopping while she was out and generally seemed content to do the bare minimum required by the agreement made with Harry. Joe’s world clicked back into his regular habits of work and golf and, now that their date nights had been rekindled, he continued with his life pretty much unaffected by his new cohabitants.
