"You have crossed the wrong man," Jack whispered as he walked around the man that was on his knees. Jack stops in front of him. "What do you have to say for yourself?" The man just whimpered. One of Jack's henchmen broke his jaw for trying to make a run for it. In response, Jack knelt down to look the man in the eye. " stealing from me has just brought you a death sentence." He then pulled his gold dagger out of his boot and slowly slit the man's throat. He then stood up and started to look around him. " Let this be a lesson to all who dare to betray me." He then took out his handkerchief and started to wipe his dagger. " You will never get away with it. For my dagger will always hit its mark." Jack paused for a moment to let it sink in. " Never forget who you serve!"
Jack yelled out with such anger, it was almost a howl. The group of men then put a fist over their chest and quickly took a knee. " We humbly serve you, our great Lord Jack Dagger!" they all chanted in unison. Once jack was satisfied with their answer, he began to give orders. " Come boys, we have to prepare to visit castle Knight." the men quickly disappeared out of his sight. Jack began to sharpen his favorite dagger. " Did you find the information I asked for?" Jack didn't have to look up to know that Kain, his most loyal henchman, appeared. " I have my great lord. It seems that king Delroy Knight is having money problems. The castle has very few people working in it. Also, he has sold most of his valuables just to keep face. His money should run out soon since he has not told the whole truth to his queen or princess."
" Interesting, the king is losing his money, and soon his power will follow. A crown is something I haven't had and not easily won. A challenge, I gladly accept." Jack began to laugh as he looked at his loyal right-hand man. Kain's cold eyes light up as he hears his lord's new desire. " I shall start to prepare, my lord. " Jack smiled as he turned to walk back to his palace. He was going to dream of being king to the world.
