The lithe lines of smoke angled down toward the elf, slowly wrapping around his legs. The magical haze tightened its grip on him as it tangled around his entire body, immobilizing him. Her eyes flickered momentarily, and the smoke began to change color to a reddish hue. The elf grunted in pain as the smoke began to burn his flesh. She urged the tendrils to burn more intensely. The elf looked at her and she could see hatred boiling within him. “Sadaka lae nash!” the elf shouted. The tendrils of smoke burst apart, scattering into the air.
