After the modelling session, Jane handed me a bag, and seriously, I am so happy not only did I get a wig, I also got a new purse, shoe, and clothes. Today is the best day of my life.

I am in the car with Mr Avery and we have been silent one because I don't know him, two because I didn't expect our CEO to be this young.

We stopped in front of an expensive restaurant, and Mr Avery got down, and I immediately followed him because I didn't want to be left alone in his car.

" Drop your bag in the car," he said. I immediately did as I was told.

We got inside, and he just walked in like he owned the place. He picked a seat far away from others. He pulled out my seat for me, and I was blushing. After we have sitted

" Go through the menu, pick anything you like," he said, handing me the menu. I opened it and I couldn't close my mouth the food is so expensive how can I eat something that costs more than my networth.

" Should I order for you? You seem to be lost," he said, and I just nodded, not trusting my voice.

He waved at the waiter and placed our order.

" So Serene, tell me about yourself," he said, rolling up his sleeves, which showed his tattoos going up his hand. I wanted to run my hands through it.

" What do you want to know, sir?" I asked so as not to say the wrong thing

" Why do you want to work at Star light ?" He asked, looking into my eyes. His eyes are so mesmerising that I could look into them all day.

" Truthfully, I need the money for rent, I just moved to New York 2 days ago, and I just need some type of stability. And I know I am very hard working, sir, " I told him

" If money wasn't the problem, what would you have opted for ?" He asked, and sincerely, I was shocked by the question.

" Content creating, I love making videos, but I don't have the resources for that, so I have buried the dream," I told him . As he was about to speak, the waiters came with the food, and it looked so good. My stomach rumbled, reminding me that I only ate ramen. I looked down, embarrassed

We were silent while eating, and it was somewhat comfortable sincerely. After we cleared our food we were waiting for dessert.

" Content creating has many sides. What do you want to focus on ?" He asked.

" Well, lifestyle videos, Vlogs, fashion ideas, girly talks the whole shebang," I replied genuinely.

" Sounds nice, but currently, are you on any social media app?" He asked

" Yes before I started dating my ex I was active on i********: and Snapchat with over 5k followers, but I haven't posted in two years because he didn't like it so it will be hard to gain them back" I told him and immediately he picked up his phone unlocked it and gave it to me to input my i********: name and I did

" Well, don't be alarmed. You still have around 4k plus followers, I guess your fan base is strong," he told me, and genuinely, I was happy. I can't use social media on my phone, so I haven't checked in a while.

Then dessert was served he ordered shaved ice for us, and it was so delicious.

" Well, I can't say you have gotten the job as a secretary, but I can tell you that you are now an employee of Starlight," he said, and I almost jumped out of my chair.

" Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, I will work very hard, sir," I told him sincerely.

" I know you will," he said. Dipping his hands into his suit pocket, he brought out a phone and an envelope

" This is yours. The phone is a mandatory requirement for all our employees, and this is your payment for the day," the said, sliding both to me.

It's an iPhone 12 Pro max, and I was so speechless I was just looking from him to the phone, unable to comprehend what's going on.

" Thank you very much, sir. May God bless you," I prayed. I opened the envelope and immediately threw it down. The money in the side was much

" Amen, thanks for the prayer. You worked for 5 hours, which is 5000$ and 200$ for transportation. You will have to drop your account details with admin tomorrow so next time it will be in your account and you won't be endangering yourself by walking around with cash" he said and I almost fainted 5000 dollars Is enough to last me a lifetime.

" Do you know how to set up your phone, or should I help you?" He asked, and I told him to help me. We left the restaurant, and we are now in his car he is helping me set up my phone. He created a new icloud, and I entered the password for my i********: and Snapchat. Then he told me about t****k and I really don't have any idea but I know I will learn.

" Sir, if I am not a secretary, what is my job then?" I asked, genuinely confused.

" James said he like you as a model, and since you said you like creating content, I am hiring you as my account manager. Many CEOs have been using social media a lot, and I don't know how to use it, and that is where you come in. You are basically me online, and I will follow your orders for pictures or videos, " he explained. Wow, that's my dream work it will give me time to create my contents too.

" Yes sir," I replied

" Tomorrow morning, come to my office to sign the contract, and I will give you my social media phone," he said.

" Where do you stay? Let me drop you," he said, handing me my phone, which still feels so surreal

" no sir you have done enough for me today. Just drop me by the nearest subway. I want to open a bank account," I told him Truthfully.

" Okay then," he said, starting the engine. After about ten minutes, he dropped me in front of a bank.

" Open this bank. My friend is the manager. Tell them from Avery he would answer you. I will call him now, " he told me, getting down, and I started packing up my stuffs on looking up, I saw Mr Avery opening the door for me.

" Thank you, sir," I told him, and he brought out his phone, making a call probably to his banker friend. He got into his car, and I waved to him, to which he waved back. I couldn't help but smile.

I entered the bank then answered me so fast I felt like a Vip and then I was walking down the street then I remembered thar I now have a wig on so I went to the store to get bonnet and essential hair products, I also bought foodstuffs in all I spent 250$ I already deposited my money and collected my card so I wasn't scared of been mugged.

I got home and quickly changed into a bikers short and big tees I wore my slides and decided to go to IKEA to get bed and stuffs I slept on the floor yesterday and I thought I will be sleeping on the floor for about six months. I entered IKEA, and I looked for the cheapest bed they had and picked a chair and table for myself only. I do not have any visitors. I also got a vanity table with lights installed.

I paid and wrote down my address. I got home, and within minutes, the delivery came in, and I arranged everything it is starting to look like home. I sat on my bed, went to the App Store, and downloaded t****k. After signing up and all, I started making research on how CEOs make contents and I saw people like Doctor Miami whose contents are so hilarious and enjoyable.

Taking note of what I have in mind for Mr Avery. Then, I decided to follow some content creators that I liked and stalked all their pages. I decided that for my social media comeback, I will film a get ready with me tomorrow morning.

I tested my vanity lighting with my phone camera, and it was okay to at least film something, but then I needed another source of light. I stood up to go and got a ring light from the store, and then in getting home, I just ate ramen and continued exploring t****k to know how it works.

Around 12 am, I went to sleep settings my alarm for 6am.

My alarm went off by 6am, and I immediately went to Bath, and I wore a short bodysuit and set up my camera on my ring light, turning on my vanity light too.

I filmed my GRWM showing how I styled my clothes and hair, I decided to wear a shirt I thrifted and my black skirt that I didn't want to wear yesterday with the new shoe I was given yesterday and the YSL black purse. I brushed my wig and added mousse to make it shine. My edges are still set, so I didn't need to worry. I used only chapstick, and I was done. I posted it on t****k and then posted the link on Snapchat and i********:. I turned off my data and got on the subway.

I was feeling a lot confident today, I got to the office and immediately went to Mr Avery's office. I knocked and heard him say, "Come in ."

" Good morning, sir," I said immediately I entered. His office is so homey, and he had another setup on the side. I don't know why he needs it because his main table is big enough.

" Serene, good morning. Take a seat," he said, pointing towards the chair. I sat down and I looked at him well, he styled his hair like those kdrama main leads and he was wearing a black suit and black shirt today with rings and a gold necklace he looks soo good. So yummy

" So here is the contract. It has your salary, rules and regulations, and other things," he said, handing it over to me.

I went through it, and it was reasonable except for the salary that says 15k per month, which is really wild for an account manager. But who am I to complain about? I signed the contract, and he also signed too handing me my Id card . Which I was so happy to have.

" That is your table and chair your office is that one you are looking at it has been set up only for them to move in your table a d chair" he told me. Almost immediately, some men came in to pick them up. I thanked him and followed them to check out the office it was so cute seriously. Testing the table and chair out, I was so happy. I went back to his office to ask for his social media phone, which he handed to me, and told me every password. He then told me he was to have the final set of interviews today for his secretary.

I went back to my office and decided to turn on my data, and my phone started blowing up. I was so shocked because I wasn't expecting it.

My t****k video had over 100k likes and reposts and then 200k followers, which was so surreal because this is my first post. I already had a lot of DM on i********: from my fans, basically asking why I disappeared. I couldn't reply, so I just posted on my story that I would do a story time soon on YouTube.

I picked up Mr Avery's phone, and he had over 2 million followers on i********: and t****k and only one post, but he was verified. J decided that he should do a Q and A for his first post.

Then I got to work written down questions I saw under any of his articles. After writing about 50 questions, i knew he won't answer all, but at least he should be able to answer at least 10 questions.

Someone knocked on my door, and I told the person to come in, and it was Mr Avery. I stood up quickly wondering what happened. He showed me a bag from Mac donalds . He was inviting me to have lunch in my office. He is so kind seriously, my angel.

I told him about the video idea, and he immediately agreed to it. He wanted to film it immediately, but I told him that there isn't a good lighting source and mic, and he told me I should list everything we would need to, which I did.

Exactly 5pm he came to my office to tell me that it's closing hour and we walked me out of the building, he also offered to drive me home to which I declined and I told him to wear a casual wear tomorrow or at least Bring it along he agreed and we parted ways.

One hour later, I was in my house. I showered and went straight to sleep. Today was a really good day. I love my life, and I know it will only get better.

Or so I thought.......
