“Oh, that. I forgot to inform you. She was marked by the Lycan King.” Peter’s voice sounded like it was no big deal but Ria looked completely stunned and then a hint of disappointment flashed across her eyes.
“How could you do this, Alpha?” Ria’s voice was low and it even seemed like she was about to cry. I was completely confused by her words and even Peter was as well.
“What are you saying, Ria? Isn't it a thing of joy that the King is her mate? It only means our Pack will have a good future.” Peter was quite happy and I was a bit surprised that he could already envision a lot of things from my relationship with Roman.
I made a mental note to engage him in a discussion later.
