The door was closed behind me and the maids were gone in the next second, the room turned dim, and soon, a glass of wine was passed to me.
“Welcome, Luna.” They said as a woman stepped forward and ushered me to a chair in the middle of the room.
“This is your throne here.” The woman said and I smiled at her.
“Thank you,” I said as I sat on the throne.
“I am at your service, Luna.” The woman said, with a genuine smile on her face, and as I nodded my interest was piqued in her.
“Who are you?” I asked calmly and she looked at me eagerly.
“I am Ash’s wife, Clara! As the Beta’s wife, I am meant to serve you.” She introduced herself with a bow of her head and my smile faltered.
