Jorjette’s Pov
I took a deep breath while I looked from Cora to Roman but he wasn't even looking at me. He was the same man who had told me he broke off his relationship with Cora, why was he there with her? Did he run back to her after breaking everything off with me? At that thought, I felt my chest tighten and I felt hurt. However, I made sure not to let the pain show on my face.
“Yes, I am. Let’s respect each other from now on.” I replied with a smile on my face.
“And I am pursuing Alpha Jorjette.” Alpha Jake spoke up, putting his arm around my waist. As he touched me, I cringed inwardly and wanted to push him away but then I had to control myself to give him face.
I just smiled at his words, not refuting them and Roman finally cast his eyes on me. He looked troubled for a moment
