Jorjette’s Pov
“What do you mean? Ash was sent to your Pack to deliver the funds for the project.” Roman said with a serious look on his face.
“How is he dead?”
“That stench coming from the car. That’s Ash…” I said but then he walked past me quickly toward the car. Peter was quick to rush forward to open the car while I followed after Roman.
As the door opened, the stench from the odor increased and Ash’s swollen face came into view.
“What happened to him?” Roman asked, looking at Ash with a blank face. I didn't know how he was feeling. Did he feel hurt? Pain? Or did he know about Ash’s betrayal already? Why wasn't he reacting?
I looked around to see the guards were staring at me with suspicious and angry looks on their faces.
