“Mine! Mine!! Mine!!!”
My heart was beating so fast as I heard Asher screaming in my head.
“She is our mate! Take her!” He continued. Left to him, he would take her right at that point but I controlled myself as I broke the kiss and embraced her tightly.
My head rested on her chest while she patted me on my back.
We were together now and I never felt so complete. She made me forget all my worries but then she just had to break the atmosphere with what I dreaded.
“Are you trying to avoid talking about Ash?” She asked and I froze. I let out a sad sigh as I straightened up and rested my back on the backrest.
