Jorjette’s POV
Roman and I exchanged glances as soon as we heard that Eden and Jake were ready. It was time to leave. The trip to the human world could do a lot of things to us but we were going to forge ahead.
“We will be fine.” Roman held my hand and kissed it. “No matter what, I will not let your hand go. I will protect you.” He assured me and I smiled back at him.
I was also looking forward to the trip for a different reason. To finally fulfill my deal with the Moon Goddess. Who knows, whoever their sovereign lord is might be the one I will be sacrificing to the Goddess.
“Let’s go,” I said to Roman. He took my hand and led me out of the study room. We got out to see Reid and Ria standing outside, ready to see us off.
