“Huh? What are you saying?” I asked, looking away from Roman for a split second and then looking back at him. Kyra wasn't replying to any of my calls or attempts to speak to her. How did he know about that? I didn't let him connect to my wolf, how did he notice that she wasn't there?
“I am asking where your wolf is. Do you have anything to tell me?” He asked and I shook my head.
“There is nothing. Why do you ask?” I questioned with raised brows, trying to play it cool.
He pointed at my chest and said, “Even though you are bandaged, it is easy to tell that you have not healed. I'll take it that you do not actually have the healing power that Sia talked about and your Wolf is not helping you.” His words hit me on a sore spot and I almost winced.
