Secret Place

1901 Words
The evening starts off normally. Christian takes me to a bar to have dinner and has invited three other people, a beta guy and two omega girls. They’re all his age so I feel extremely strange and out of place among them, listening to their conversations that I don't fully understand and eating a pizza that I don't entirely enjoy. I miss my clan's food, this is bullshït. I actually miss everything about my clan. I don't want to be here. "Dude, why are you wearing Fallonmore clothes? Is it a dig at our clan?" the beta next to me suddenly asks, punching my arm trying to be funny, I guess. I just look down, I hadn't noticed the shirt I picked out. "No. Most of my clothes are Fallonmore clothes, they're free and comfortable, I just have to go to my grandparents' house to get them," I explain, shrugging, "Besides, it's kind of hard to find clothes for my size, clothes that don't fit me small." "Oh, right," says the omega sitting in front of me, looking at me with obvious attraction. Her name is Miranda or something and she's a cute girl with brown skin and long black hair, but I'm not attracted to her, "It must be hard, look at those shoulders. And you're only, what? Eighteen?" "Uh-huh," I reply. "Do you work out much? How much can you lift?" Asks the other omega, who is sitting next to Christian, holding his hand, but I can feel her eyes focused on my body. I don't even turn to her because I don't want Christian to think I'm looking at her with desire or something. "I workout sometimes, but it's not something I like. I don't know how much I can lift," I admit, shrugging again. The beta stares at me weirdly but as soon as I meet his eyes he lowers his gaze, "Anyway. Where are we going after this?" "We have a long night ahead of us," Christian says relaxing back in his seat and wrapping his arms around the omega's shoulders, "First we're going to a club where we can dance, but then I want to show you our little secret place." "Really?" Miranda asks, confused, "Isn't he too little for that?" "Are you not looking at him? There’s nothing little about him,” Christian laughs and raises a fist at me. I have to force myself to bump it, "He's of age, that's enough. We alphas are different, we grow up faster. And I think he's going to like it." "What is it?" I ask, starting to get intrigued. The beta chuckles and shares a look with Christian. "It's a surprise, but I promise you're going to like it," Christian assures me, "I know I would have loved someone to take me there when I was eighteen." Oh, that's great. It must be something stupid. Something to do with probably illegal stuff. Hopefully I'll find a way to leave before then. "Hey, kid, bring a round of tequila shots. Two for each," Christian suddenly orders. Without asking once again. I seriously hate it when he does that. I have to close my eyes for a second and calm down, "That's okay with you, right, Law?" Law? Is that supposed to be me? I guess it is because his eyes are on me. I would tell him I don't love to drink, but under the gaze of this group of older people I think it will be lame to say that so I just nod. Bad idea. I almost choke on my first shot and the second one burns my insides, but I try to pretend it's okay. Of course I don't get drunk on it, but these people keep ordering and ordering shots and drinks and by the time we go to the first club I'm getting a little tipsy. Just a little, just enough for Christian to stop seeming like an annoying douchebag to me. And for this to start to seem like fun. So when we intrude into the crowd and everyone around me starts dancing... I do it too. I don't even feel stupid doing it, especially when someone shoves a beer in my hand and then another and another. And when Mirada sticks against my body and starts dancing with me, letting me feel her whole body. "I have to go to the bathroom," I shout in Miranda's ear some time later. She nods and turns to the others as I move from the crowd to the hallway leading to the bathrooms. My phone has been vibrating like crazy since I left my apartment and when I pull it out I see that almost my entire family has been calling me. Even Diory, "What the hell." I'd rather ignore them until I get home because I want to save myself from their questions, but I don't think this many calls are normal so I call Alex first to do some research before I talk to my parents. "Hey, Laurie, what the hell?" He answers immediately, "It's one in the morning, why weren't you answering?" "I'm... I'm at a club. Is Rio there? Why is everyone calling me?" I ask, but Alex doesn't say anything and I can hear some noise in the distance. And then my father’s voice. Oh, shït. "What did you just say? Where are you?" "I'm at a club, with Christian and his friends. Everything's fine," I answer, swallowing and raising a hand to my hair, "Why is everyone calling me?" "Because you haven't answered calls since five and it was your Uncle Andy's birthday. You didn't even call him to say happy birthday," he growls sounding quite angry. I close my eyes in stress, I completely forgot, "Are you drunk? You sound drunk, Laurent. We didn't send you to Tallahide so you can go out and drink whenever you feel like it, what the fück do you think you're doing? And who is Christian?" "Why are you acting as if I'm not literally eighteen?" I blurt out, starting to get annoyed, "I can do whatever I want. And Christian is Christian... Alpha of Tallahide? He's my friend now. His friends too." "Laurent, he's much older than you, he has no business being your friend. Go back to your apartment right now," he warns in a very low voice, "It's late. I don't want you to think that just because we're not with you, you can do whatever the hell you want because it’s not like that. And doing this kind of thing is not like you.” "Honestly, Dad, you have no idea what I'm like," I spit, aware that I'm slurring my words even though I'm trying to sound coherent, "And you know what? Fück you. I’m old enough and I get to do whatever the hell I want." I end the call then and after I do my business, I go back with Christian and the others. As soon as he sees me, my new friend puts his hand on my shoulder. "Hey, it's time to go to our place, are you ready?" he asks and I nod. So that’s how I end up on Christian's car sitting in the back, with Miranda on my lap, touching my body. "When we're there, stay next to me," she whispers in my ear, her hand reaching under my shirt to touch my abdomen, "I'm going to take care of you." My wolf is starting to get annoyed with me for letting an omega sit on me, touching me and talking to me this close, he wants us to get out of here and for me to stay away from her because he's been able to smell how she wants me for a while now and he doesn't like it, but this is the first time something like this is happening to me. It's exciting. And even more so when we finally get to the 'secret place'. A Laundromat. "Wow, you're right. I love this," I say sarcastically and everyone laughs but Christian just rolls his eyes and opens the door for all of us to enter. He doesn't answer anything so I have no choice but to follow him down a hallway until we come to another door. "This is the place. Don't freak out, okay?" He says, giving me a strange look, "The last thing I need is for you to freak out and go to your family to tell them. It's a secret place for a reason." "I'm not a kid, dude, I won't say anything," I say, earning a satisfied smile from him. He opens the door, letting me see a whole new secret club full of people. My eyes widen like saucers when I see the things going on here, but I force myself to keep my mouth shut and not make my shock obvious. "Rules are: be respectful and don't touch anyone unless they've given you clear consent, okay? And that's it," he says and shrugs. I just nod, trying to act like I'm not completely losing my shït and feeling the vibration of my phone in my pants along with the urgency to get the hell out of here. That urgency comes directly from my wolf, who is zero percent okay with simply being here, witnessing all of this. "Come with me, I told you I'm going to take care of you," Miranda repeats and takes my hand before pulling me and making me enter this place. It's a sëx club and there are people literally fücking on a couch ten steps away from me. There are naked dancers on stage and other things I can't even describe yet. It's… so fücking cool. Miranda pulls me towards one of the empty couches to sit on while the beta guy breaks off to go greet a group of people and Christian starts talking with his omega. "I can feel you're losing your shït right now," Miranda says with a laugh that makes me frown while my face gets hot with embarrassment, but she’s not really mocking me, "Chris always wants to be the coolest guy in the room, especially with younger alphas, but he didn't think this one through. You're still innocent, aren't you?" "No, I’m not. I've just never been in a place like this before. There’s an in between,” I say and she nods, understanding. I avert my eyes from her and turn to look at everything again, there's so much going on I don't even know where to put my eyes. It smells like complete sëx and the scent is bothering my wolf even more, so much so that he is trying to take control to leave this place. So, I make the decision to do something about it, "You want something to drink? I'll go to the bar." "A gin and tonic, please," she answers smoothly as I stand up, "And don't let anyone try to snatch you on the way. You're my Alpha for today, okay?" Oh. 'Absolutely not, tell her no. Get out of here. We belong only to Kingsley.' "Sure," I force myself to answer and walk to the bar, getting my hand in my pocket to pull out the pillbox I always carry with me. I need an inhibitor or I won't be able to enjoy the best place I've ever walked into.
