No one can neglect or ignore that there is a widespread of these networks. Imane gets older; she feels like she needs to widen her friends’ zone. She wants to experience a new adventure without considering the consequences. Her character becomes more demanding in many things, she decided to create a new social media secret account and add strange boys in just for fun, and the relationship has never gone beyond the virtual expectations; just to discover the mentality of the opposite s*x. "I feel like I am living a new life, a life where I can lie and pretend anything without being caught. I express my inner self without fear; I experience the taste of profligacy freely”.Imane got used to this life, her meetings with friends reduced with time except for studies. She waits for courses to finish so that she can run away home and stay in her room for the rest of the day. She believed that as long as these chat rooms are secret and only for chatting; no pictures no video calls, then no one would find out and she wouldn’t end up in a bad situation. Once, she received a friend request from a stranger using a nude picture as a profile picture; his profile was full of nudity and s****l content, her curiosity reached the c****x to chat with such a person; maybe curiosity or something else like s****l need. "If I want to go beyond this society's convictions and get my freedom, I should take the risk and see what is going on in this virtual world". Finally, she accepted the request so long as she was using a fake name and fake account, no worries at all. The two kept chatting all night and all the next few days until he convinced her with his sweet magical words to send some nude pictures just to make him happy and he promised to keep them only for him. She felt comfortable with him even though they had not met in real she sent him few pictures but without showing her face completely. 

“No one would recognize my pictures if I covered my face or I cut my face from the picture; so let's have fun" She said.

He was happy that he made her change her opinion about pictures; she started to tell him more personal things about her family.

"My father was alcoholic and careless about us most of the time; all that he wanted was his alcohol and money to spend on prostitutes".

Imane was a child and the absence of her father made her think that her father did not make efforts for them. She was just searching for excuses to blame her father for their poverty; they lived in miserable conditions where poverty became a partner in their home, it became a family member whom they meet every day.

"My mom worked hard to provide us with food and home necessities; she spent her time at other women's service. When I went with her, I saw how they mistreated her and how they exploited her physical abilities for a small amount of money"; "she was playing the role of a mother and a father at the same time".

In addition, she told him that she needs financial help to keep studying and other personal things, he did the same thing to gain her confidence, he told her about his personal life but what he said was lies to get her sympathy. He promised to help her and make her life better. That’s it! It is the perfect chance for this human fox to control her. He offered to help her financially if she cooperates with him and makes more effort to entertain him. Imane gave him a bank account to transfer money to it, they make the deal and he wanted her to be a virtual p********e if that is the exact word for this situation. She didn't refuse because she felt no danger.

One time she was making him happy with a video call, she felt something hot and strange dropping between her legs!!! SHE felt her body shaking and her face appeared in the video call she couldn't control the cell phone in her left hand after a few moments later she recognized that she got her virginity by mistake. It is a disaster in the full sense of the word!! She couldn't stop her brain from thinking about her father and his efforts to educate her, to make her a good person in the future, so she can work and make up for his efforts. She thought about the day when someone would ask her for marriage thinking that she is a virgin, the worst was that her mother every day reminds her to take care of herself and to reflect her parents' education. Zahra kept telling her that she is a diamond and she should be careful about what she has especially her purity and virginity; all that disappeared in a blink of an eye. No one would believe that she did it by mistake and no one had touched her, and what a mistake!!? "An excuse uglier than a sin". She got into a serious psychological state, she was striking from eating and drinking hoping to die, silly Imane. She tried to commit suicide by taking some medicines, nothing happened just a fatigued body with reduced blood pressure; the most dangerous was her destroyed psyche. They were rainy days for sure, but money has no value in such matters. However; after few days, Imane logged into her secret account to ask him for money to get a plane ticket and go anywhere far from her society. Helas!! He blocked her and deleted his account, she got pranked.

    While she was waiting for him to contact her or to send a message she was surprised to receive a message with her nude pictures from another guy asking: "If you don't want shame and scandals to you and your family, follow my instructions and let's have more fun".

He added: “I can publish them at any moment. Be wise in your decision my dear” then he sent another picture. she was in shock; she started to beg him to not do that, she knew that it was him using another account and he kept sending pictures and recorded videos in which they were naked and having s****l actions she asked him to delete her pictures and videos and she would never ask for money anymore. He told her that he would not do that, and if she blocked him or deleted her account he would immediately publish everything. Imane didn’t know what to do, she was not knowledgeable about laws she got frightened, her face became pale, and her heartbeats became faster.

“The only thing that I was able to do was praying, I was praying with all my heart, I begged Allah for mercy and forgiveness, I begged him not to let that insolent do any harmful action”.

A day after, Imane wakes up in the hospital and her poor mom looking at her and crying: "what happened to my little angel, am I not feeding you good!? Are you tired from the long distance between home and university!

You must be. This is why you are resting in your room always, you must be exhausted, I should have worked more and more for you, forgive me, sweetheart!

Imane's eyes were tearful, she asked her mom about her phone. Her mom answered: "don't worry, it is with me, no one has touched it". Imane was a little bit comfortable and once her mom gave it to her she started to log out from her account and she never logged in again. Imane was waiting for her mom or the doctor to tell her that she had not been a virgin anymore. Silly Imane again! In hospitals, they do general tests and they cannot interfere in such sensitive matters unless it is asked from the patient or the police. Now she is living with the fear of seeing her nude pictures on social media every day which is considered a dreadful scandal in eastern societies and the MENA region. The good thing is that it didn’t happen till now.

 I am very happy that it did not happen. I cannot imagine what she could do if that happen. Imane’s family and society are very conservative and religious which are why those events affect her in a very negative way. I really hope that girls in such societies take good care of themselves so that they won't be weak and no one can judge them or humiliate them or badly treat them because in similar situations girls can be killed or tortured or threaten outside their warm houses to the street only for a mistake that can be treated in more reasonable ways.
