ZADEYN It was a damn miracle that Tilly didn’t collapse and hit her head on the edge of the table. Exhaling out an exasperated breath, I curled my arms around her and pulled her lax body into mine. This close, I could smell the sweet scent of soap on her skin with traces of the salty sea air and pine needles. Her bouncy curls tumbled from the messy knot on top of her head, silky strands surrounding my hands, wrists, and forearms. She surrounded me. Invaded my senses with her soft skin and those luscious lips I had spent months fantasizing about. I relished this brief moment of physical contact while she was unconscious.
