SALLY
"Girl, did you see how she almost cried? "Such a cry baby", Sam noted, after I made Ariel walk away in tears, but I was too distracted with thoughts to give a response.
"I really want to imagine what she was thinking when she thought she could be here. Sally, you need to really do something about these kinds of people", Claire added, giving me a serious look.
I would have to speak to my grandfather. He was the only one who really reasoned like me. Not dad.
We had finished our lunch and were heading towards the classroom when I noticed students talking about something and pointing towards a particular direction.
I turned to Sam and I saw her already on her phone. Smart.
"It's Jason. He has some stains on his shirt?"
"Since when did you start stalking him?" I asked her with disgust etched on my face.
"Relax. The news is everywhere. He came out of the convenience with a stained shirt. It's very stained, like he touched someone".
"How? I know Jason. He's a neat freak, and he doesn't let anyone or anything touch him carelessly. So, who or what did it to him?"
"Let's quit asking so many questions and get him a new one. Queen, this is another chance to prove the school wrong."
I quickly placed an order for a new shirt that would arrive in five minutes. I was aware the costume office was closed because the staff were on a trip to restock.
"Where's he?" I asked, facing Sam.
"Costume office. He's stranded".
"Let's go". Claire touched my arm.
Wait a minute.
"What kind of stains did they say are on his body?"
"It looked really red", Samantha gasps.
"Did that pig really touch him?" Claire raised a brow.
"How did they even meet?"
I was already fuming.
"If what I think happened is true, she's so dead!!".
JASON
I'd been looking for her all over the place since break time, but she was not within reach.
I simply wanted her to explain to me what prompted her to keep posting silly things about us, knowing fully well we had ended things.
I was mad.
I was so mad that I could crush a wall.
The future of my father's company depended heavily on my relationship, because the only condition dad gave in order for me to inherit his empire was that I would have to bring back a lady I intended to be married to. Sally was fully aware of this and she had been pestering my life since.
It was more annoying because I had to be in this place -which I hated -, because if I didn't, he would ship me over to Australia, to go stay with his brother. My last stay there was traumatic.
He had exclusive access to my music brand as the core investor and the first person who signed me and I cannot gain access to so many things as it stand.
I strolled through the convenience in a bid to escape the peering eyes of students and also catch some fresh breeze. The only way to gain privacy is to be in the most unlikely places at the most unlikely times. I learned this the hard way.
Being at Tonny College was one of the dumbest things I'd got to agree to do in my lifetime, and this is because I was already a certified musician by fourteen and, since then, I have been very established in my music career.
I didn't need to do the college thing again, but dad was so insistent, claiming that it would be for my own good.
I really don't blame him. I blame myself for not relocating back to Korea to be with my grandparents once I sensed he was serious about it. To hell with their inheritance.
I was walking with so much force and vigor, just the way I felt the anger in my heart when I felt someone bump into me.
Who uses the convenience at this time?
Students would rather use it during boring lectures than waste their precious break time that could be used for some more fun things. I've been here an awful number of times to know.
I looked at the lady in front of me with so much irritation and anger.
She looked like the worst thing that had happened to me that day, both because of how bad she smelled and looked.
"Th...the...I"
I simply shot her a glare and walked past her.
I knew this was not a good place to be, but I also didn't guess that they'd also be admitting mentally unstable people.
I walked into the guy's quarters and, after doing my thing, I stepped in front of the mirror to make sure I was okay when I saw stains on my white shirt.
I traced it, and it looked exactly like the color of stains I saw on that weird girl earlier.
I twitched my lips and rubbed my hair in frustration.
Since I started at this school, it's been from one annoying scenario to the other.
"Great".
There was no way I could have it washed off and not worsen the stains, so I picked up my phone to make a call when I remembered that dad also cut off my access to my manager and that meant I wouldn't be able to get to my bodyguards or use the services of my maids once I was within the school premises.
I thought of going to request a new pair of shirts, but the thought of going to that office and the attention it would attract stopped me.
"What in the name of..." I sighed and bit my lip again.
Why did I have to come across a mad woman and on a bad day?
I resorted to walking to the school's costume office to get a new shirt because I couldn't go around in a stained wear.
I looked around carefully before finally walking out of the convenience.
I somehow wanted to avoid passing students, but it was almost as impossible as turning into a ghost, so I walked among them freely.
I saw how some of them gasped, and I heard whispers among them.
They seemed to be talking about something other than me, so I stylishly let my gaze linger on some of them and I saw where they pointed their fingers to.
"My shirt. Damn" I rubbed my hair, still distraught and frustrated. I knew it would be a matter of time and the news would be all over the place that I was walking around with a stained shirt.
I knew no one could touch me because I was already cold looking and I barely smiled with anyone, so they didn't know what to expect.
I strolled casually without acting like I even noticed anything was on my shirt and on getting to the costume office, I found out it was locked.
"How worse could today get?"
I paused a bit as I noticed people's presence, only to see that a bunch of students staring back at me.
"I can't believe that he even knows the new girl"
"How would our queen feel about this betrayal?"
"I know this girl is so dead, the queen will deal with her"
"How does he even find the pig attractive?"
I stared at them and lifted a brow. What were they talking about?
I tried walking away when the crowd started making their way but then she appeared.
"Hey! "What happened to you?" She said with concern etched on her face.
I didn't respond and tried to shuffle her away, but she held my hand.
I saw phones up and heard awws.
"Sally, please"
She didn't respond, instead she handed me a bag and told me to go change my shirt.
I can see that news reached her faster than I could reach the costume office.
Thanks Dad.
"Thanks.I really appreciate it," I said coldly, took the bag and walked away.
"Oh my God, they're so cute together."
"I knew I didn't think wrongly, or Jason must've gotten that stain elsewhere."
"Thank God our queen saved the day!!"
Whatever it is they were talking about, it was all their business.
ARIEL.
I wanted to vanish into thin air.
How did I not see the person in front of me before bumping into him?
I tried looking into his face to apologize, but he simply shot me a cold glare and the only thing that could come out of my mouth were stammers.
I looked at his shirt and was going to tell him it had been stained, but he pushed past me and walked away.
I felt so terrible for having such a bad day. I almost cried.
When I was done with cleaning myself up as much as I could, I went through another exit that took me through the field and into the classroom to rest. Sally succeeded in ruining my lunchtime.
It was a few minutes to the end of the break, so I decided to keep myself busy by reading a book.
I was almost opening the book when I heard her voice, and then the voices of so many other students following.
I saw them approaching me, so I was on guard and I stood up immediately.
I could literally pack my heart on the floor. What did they want?
She came right in front of me and handed me a dirty slap.
