***Ryder’s POV*** Almost everyone is gathered in my office. We sit in silence as we wait for my top warrior to arrive. “Alpha, if you don’t mind me asking, wh-” Before Jessica can finish speaking, there’s a knock at the door. Our top warrior, Miles, enters with a sheepish look on his face. “I’m sorry I’m late. I got off patrol late.” I nodded at him and motioned for him to take a seat.
