Duke watched them through the window. He couldn’t believe that it had all worked out so well. Don’t get me wrong, I mean I am glad that Talia’s family was so quick to accept that she was gone for reasons they may never know. He just had to admit to himself that he had half expected things to blow up quickly. Yeah they were family and that was supposed to mean that they were there for each other, but that had not been his experience in life.
