Chapter 40: Into the frying pan.
Talia couldn’t believe it; she was frozen from the scene before her. She thought that monster had taken everything from her before but now he really was taking her heart, and he wasn’t even breathing anymore! She felt like her whole world was crumbling down slowly and she was forced to watch it all happen without being able to stop any of it. The scene was like some kind of horror movie, she could see all the gore and hear the screams but no matter how much she tried she couldn’t shut her eyes or turn away from the screen.
