Goddess, she is the other side of the bedroom door but both me and X are pacing the floors out here in the lounge.
We can feel her through the growing mating bond. She is not enjoying her time with Lilly and right now I hate myself for requesting this assessment. She needs to be healthy, I can lose her. Whatever she needs to be healthy and to heal from her time in this pack, it is my duty to ensure she gets. Right now my mate is feeling.. .. vulnerable and I did that to her.
Running my hand through my hair, frustration and guilt floods me. I need to be in there, I need to be with her. To hold her. To support her.
I also know that she needs to do this, that she is stronger than she believes and that I need to allow her to discover her own strength.
So I continue pacing.
