I am here

the beginning

Aisha-

It is 6:30 in the morning and I am already up. I have been at home for the past 8 days now because I have been calling in sick. Going through a break up is very hard and painful. I have not been at work, and my best friends keep calling to check up on me, but I'm not answering any of their calls because they don't know that I and mazzie have broken up.

Mazzie is my ex. We dated for a year and a half and the relationship was like hell, when we started dating she was very calm, nice and friendly but a few months into the relationship she started acting up like hitting me, talking with other girls and always putting me down for being a plus size lady. i just decided to stay in the relationship for that long because if i break up with her i wont have a place to live and i did not want to ask my best friends to live with them or my sister because i did not want to be a burden and i also don't want them to know what i'm going through. So from then I kept it to myself and acted like everything was ok. after I saved up a lot of money to move out and rent out my own apartment. Then I ended it.

A few weeks into living in my own apartment, my step sister London got put out by my mother. Now She is living with me and I don't really mind that my sister is here with me and I love having her company and the way she is always there for me. Me,London and my older sister Zuri have a very strong connection and I love that but we don't really have a good relationship or that same connection with our mother because we feel like our mama dont like us. But let's save that talk for another day. It's now 6:55 and London comes into my room, I turn from my bed and look at her.

"Morning london, is there something u need?" I ask her

"Um yeah, i'm here to let u know that i am getting ready for school, and i was wondering if u could drop me off," she asked me with a smile on her face

I looked at her and said "yeah sure what time are u leaving, though?"

"7:30 today because i have a presentation," she says

"Ok, that fine from there when i drop u off. im going to go shopping for some things for around the house, then later im going to zuri's house," i said while getting off the bed

She looks at me. "Can i go stay with her for the weekend?"

"If u want to, but when i get there, i will ask her ok"

She nodded and then left to go start getting ready

An hour later-

"London, are u ready it almost 7:15 hurry if not, you're going to be late,"i yelled out

She comes downstairs. " Yeah, I am ready. How do I look

She was wearing a short ass skirt and a black crop top. She put her hair up and did her edges

I look at her and smile. "You look good, but are u not going to get dress coded?"

"No, i don't think so, plus i look good.w"

"Ok but make sure th

ey don't call me because of u if not they gonne get cussed the f**k out" i say to her

"Ok" she says getting her bag off the couch

"Do u need lunch money or do u still have some money left in your card" i ask her knowing she does not have any more money

"Umm about that i only have like 5$ left" she looks away knowing what's coming

"I just added money in there last week like up to 70$ how the f**k is it done"

"Umm can we just go im going to be late" it 7:22

I looked at her then walked out the door and she came behind me. She comes out and I lock the door, then we go to the lobby and went to the car.

When we got in the car "i'm going to add 100$ to your card don't use it all up in just a week" i say to her

"Ok i won't" she say looking up from her phone

I started the car and we drove to her school, when we got there her friends were outside waiting for her. I gave her a kiss on the forehead and told her to have a good day. Me telling her that is telling her to stay her ass out of drama.

After she got out of the car, I drove to Walmart to get some groceries. When I got there, I got out, locked the car, and went inside. I grabbed a cart and started walking around picking up the stuff I needed.

I wasn't really paying attention to where I was going, and then I bumped into someone. She was a hot stud, she turned around and we looked at each other for a second. Before I could say anything, she asked me if I was okay even though she was the one who got hit.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to hit you," I said, looking at her.

"It's fine. I should've been paying attention too," she said, and then licked her lips.

"Um, no, it's not your fault. And I'm really sorry," I said, feeling kind of shy.

"It's fine," she said again, and then she just kept shopping like nothing happened.

After I was done I got back into the car and headed to my sister's place. On the way there I got a group call from hazel and imani, i answered the call and they started yelling at me asking me a lot of questions on why i have not been at work and why i have not been answering their calls, i told them that i will call them back in the evening and explain to them. It was a long drive so I played some music and chilled in the car. When I got there I parked the car and got out. I locked the doors and then I knocked on her door for a few minutes. She opened the door for me and I was so happy to see her. She hugs me and steps to the side so I can come in.

"So what's up" she say walking into the kitchen

"Girl there is a lot going on and i just need to escape" i say my voice becoming low

"What do you mean" she look up from washing the dishes

"Me and mazzie broke up she was cheating on me and i did not want to be in that relationship no more" i say trying not to cry

My sister turns off the tap and comes behind me hugging me tight making me feel like i'm not alone

"It's going to be ok" she says smiling at me

A few minutes later a girl comes out of the guest room. I looked at her and it was the stud I hit at walmart.

I turn and look at my sister and she smiles

"This is my new roommate hayden she just moved in from Chicago and she needed a place to stay" she say "hayden this is aisha my sister, aisha this is hayden"

Hayden looks at me and smile her smile sent shivers down my spine making me feel wet for some f*****g reason.

"Your the girl who hit me with your cart at walmart" she says in a playful tone

I laugh "yeah i am and i'm sorry about that"

My sister looks at both of us "yall know each other"

Hayden looks at her "yeah she was the one i told u about when i got home the girl who hit me today"

"Oh yeah now i remember you called her cute" zuri says

"I did not know that was your sister" she looks at me licking her lips like last time

"Well now you do so yall get to know each other and my sister is single now so" she says looking at me

"ZURI!!" i yell "f**k you man thanks for reminding me"

"Your welcome, now yall can talk get to know each other"

"Let me guess your doing out for some d**k again" hayden says look at my sister

I yell out "WHAT??"

My sister looks at her "shut the f**k up man she does not know"

Hayden looks away and i turn to look at her and my sister

"It's not what you think sis im just talking to him" she says trying not to over talk

"Whos d**k is she talking about" i say

"His name is Kameron and he is just a friend for now" she say looking away

"Yeah just a friend" i say in a sarcastic tone

"I like him and we only had s*x ones she just keeps bring it up" she says

Kayden then talks "yeah because that's my best friend you had s*x with"

"Well you did not have a problem with it before" i turn to her

"Well yeah because i did not care im lesbian anyways so"

"Yeah f**k no you and my sister can go f**k each other because both of you lesbian as hell" she says

I look away trying not to make eye contact

"So sis how is london" she ask me

"She is good, she was asking if she can come stay here for the weekend i told her i would ask you"

"Yeah she can come she can stay in my room" she say

"Yeah pls because this girl wants to eat up all my money, i gave this girl 70$ in her card like last week and now today she was going to school and asked me to give her 100$ that she has no money for lunch"

"Your joking" she says trying not to laugh

"I wish i was" i say

Kayden gets a call and leaves the room to answer it then my sister looks at me

"What do you think of her" she say

"What do you mean" i ask her

"Well like would you date her" she ask me

"Umm i don't know we just met each other and i don't even know if she would be into a plus size girl" i say look down

"First she is looking for a girl just someone who is understandable and she is very calm and gentile when it comes to dating and when she was telling me about how u hit her she sad she should have gotten your number" she say

"Sis i don't know" i say rolling my eyes

"Well i will talk to her for you and maybe yall can go on a date or something"

I love my sister but when she is pushing things it gets me mad sometimes but it's because she wants me to try new things but yet doesn't want me to get hurt. Her telling me to go on and date with kayden is not bad, it's just I don't want to get hurt.

"I will think about it" i say look up at her

"Here i will give you her number talk with her and i will talk with her for u too"

"Ok" i say trying to be open minded

She takes my phone adding in kaydens number into it then kayden comes back out

"Well i need to leave and go pick up london so" i say getting up

"Your bring her tmr right" she ask me

"Yeah i am in the morning ok" as i'm walking to the door

"Ok" she say

Bye they both say

Zuri-

I turn to kayden "so i gave my sister your number and i want y'all to go on a date i know yall just met but i think she just needs some loving company right now so you should try texting her" i say

She looks up and say "your sister is pretty and i would date her but i don't want to rush into anything someone is not ready for" she says

"Yeah i understand just give her a try she just broke up with someone who hurt her bad and she is finding hard to love again so pls give my sister a chance help her see that she is beautiful" i say looking at her

"Ok i will give her a try i will text her tonight" she says

"Yeah that's good" i say with a big smile

Aisha-

I get into my car and I just keep thinking about what my sister said. Should I give Hayden a chance? She is good looking and everything but I don't want to get hurt or hurt her. She is a nice person. I just need some time to think about this. I start the car and drive off to London's school. The drive there was 20 minutes. When I got there it was 2:57 school ended at 3 so I waited until they dismissed her and she came out. When I saw her I got out of the car and waited beside it. I saw her saying bye to her friends and walking up to the car.

"How was your day" i ask her getting into the car

"It was ok just stressful and some b***h tried jumping me" she says as she get into the car to

"What happened" i ask her starting the car and pulling out

"She said because i was talking to her man" she says putting on her seatbelt

"Were u talking with her man" i ask her pulling up on a red light

"Yeah i was because we were in a group together"

"Just be careful and don't get yourself involved in s**t ok"

"Yes mom" she say in a joking voice

"I'm being serious london"

"Ok ok" she rolled her eyes

We stopped talking and I turned on some music. When we got to the parking lot, we got out of the car and walked to the front of the building. We went inside and waited for the elevator.

When it came, we got in and pressed the button for our floor. The elevator went up, and when it stopped, we walked to our door. I took out the key, opened the door, and we went inside. I got in and went to my room and I got a call. It was a group call with imani and hazel. I picked up my phone and answered the call.

"Hey whats up we can talk now" i say as i put the phone down walking around the room picking up my cloths and cleaning up

"Girl it about time the f**k" imani said rooling her eyes

"I have been busy and just had a lot of s**t to deal with" I say as I pick up my phone looking at them

Hazel then talks "what kind of s**t do u got going on man talk to us"

I go silent for a few then speak up

"Me and mazzi broke up"

They both look so shocked

"Girl are u ok what happened what did the b***h do now" imani said looking confused

"She has been cheating on me. Hitting me and I did not want to put up with that s**t anymore so"

Me and my friend talk for 30 minutes on the phone then they hung up.

my friends understood what i was going through and they both said we should all go to the club tomorrow.

a few minute later

I go downstairs and cook some food to eat because it's getting late and I know London hungry too.

I made some rice and oxtail with salad on the side it looked so good.

I call London down to eat. She came down and looked at the food with a smile on her face

"When you're done eating, please wash your dish because I am tired and don't want to do any more work today," i say, putting food on my plate

she gets up and takes her food with her "ok i will," she says, walking into her room

i go sit in the living room with my phone, then i get a message from an unknown number. i picked up my phone to see who it was.

unknown: Hey, it's me kayden your sister won't get off my ass about texting you, so hey, what up

Me: my sister is so dang. Annoying, she wants me to find someone, but I don't think I can handle that right now

Kayden: Can we call? I'm not going to lie. I hate texting 😒 🙄

I laugh at the emoji she sent and then call her

She answered the call on the 2 ring

"Hey, Miss Cart lady," she said, winking at me

I put some food into my mouth, and then I spoke "Girl bye u know I have a name right."

"Yeah, but miss cart lady is better." she says

I roll my eyes and put more food in my mouth 😋

" What u eating?" She asked me, and I looked up at her smiling

"Rice and oxtail with veggies," I say, putting more in my mouth

"Sound delicious. Did u make it yourself? "

I nodded my head and smiled

" Your smile is really cute. I like it,"

I blush and pull my head away from the camera so she won't see me

"Where did u go, miss cart lady?" she says

"I'm going to get water. Just give me a minute."

A few minutes later, I came back, and she smiled, looking at me

"So miss cart lady, let me get to know u more."

I look up at my phone. "What do u want to get to know about me?"

"Anything,"

"Ok, so as u know, my name is aisha. I'm 21. I live with my 14 years old sister. I have an older sister, zuri, who is 25. I like girls and have never been with a boy before. One thing people don't know about me is that I'm a vergin. Most people think I sleep around, but I don't im loyal to the person I'm with. My favorite color is blue, and my favorite food is pork chops." I say, trying to think about more

"Ok, that's a lot, and I did not know a girl like u would be a vergin," she says, licking her lips

"Well, yeah, I never let my ex have s*x with me. I don't know why, but I could not give myself to her so she would get mad. " she was going to say something, but then london came in

Yo sis, do u have lip gloss? " she asked me

I tell kayden to give me a minute, then I turn to my sister

"First of why did u come in my room before knocking and second why u need lipgloss at this time"

"I'm going on call with Tamara and I Need to look good"

"Girl get the f**k out my room and go put on you dame pj's"

Kaden laughs and I look at my phone

"Who is that?" London ask jumping on my bed

"Someone now get out" I say to her

"Ohh u have a girlfriend she said slaping my hand" she says

I look at her "get the f**k out before I beat your ass"

she walks out and I lock back at my phone to see kayden laughing

we talked for 30 more minutes then we say our good night and went to bed.
