(Kate’s pov)
I take Jakes hand and start up the stairs. My office is on the fourth floor so we start heading up.
“I have to tell you this place is beautiful everything looks brand new.”
“That’s because it is.”
Jake stumbles a little on a step. Jake’s shocked face makes me laugh out loud.
“I want to tell you what happened in depth in a little bit with everyone but I was challenged by two other Alphas shortly after taking over and that added more territory so I moved everything to the middle of my territory. Honestly the old pack house didn’t have the best memories and was not my style at all.”
As I finish we reach my office. I’m about to open the door when I here Trent yelling. I swing the door open and am ready to pounce, but I’m not ready for what I see.
