CHAPTER TWO
The nightmare began for Steve Lurgan in Kosovo around 1999. He had been investigating rumors around the Sar Mountains along the Albanian border where it was reported that KLA troops had brought Serbian citizens to s*******r. Even more horrific rumors circulated that the KLA had secret laboratories situated along the mountain range where Serbians were being butchered for their organs and body parts.
Steve was born in Queens, New York but had traveled back and forth from Ireland throughout his life to spend summers with his grandparents. He developed a love for travel and had been taken to the Continent by his relatives over the years. By the time he graduated from the University of Dublin with a degree in journalism, he had seen almost all the major cities in Western Europe. H
