CHAPTER FOUR
Captain Bojan Evilenko had been the leader of Company Z, a top-secret paratrooper unit created by direct order of President Radovan Karadzic. They were an anti-insurgent unit assigned to exterminate all terrorist groups operating in the Sar Mountains near Kosovo. They experienced some of the most brutal fighting in the war as the militants had been taking hostages and holding them for ransom. When rescuers drew nigh, they would use the hostages as human shields in making their escape deeper into the mountains. The Serbians’ greatest concern was over the rumors that the Albanians were dissecting hostages in hidden laboratories, harvesting their organs and body parts for sale to the Chinese.
