“So will we just wait here?” Jana was managing to compose herself.
“Actually, you can be of further service to us if you like,” Evilenko replied. “I had a reconnaissance unit move into the research plant after Lurgan and Lucic left. They gathered up the remaining documents before notifying the FBI of Lurgan’s attack. They are on their way here but are not familiar with New York traffic. Perhaps you can contact them on the Internet and guide them here.”
“That will be fine, sir,” Jana agreed, feeling like a James Bond girl in the midst of all the intrigue.
“Sir, you are not going to believe this,” Evilenko’s lieutenant announced as he got off the cell phone once again. “Lurgan got out of the truck and is walking straight over here.”
