I don’t know how long I stood there screaming for Kai. Watching him being taken by those creatures was bad enough, but then to see the pain on his face as he was slowly pulled through the wall. . . . He was alive, I had to believe he was still alive. The creatures obviously were not going to bring him back, and they didn’t seem to be coming after me either. Why weren't they coming for me? Then I remembered. . . .

The saying on the door before we entered the library! Danger definity followed, could it be that because this was my path and not Kai’s that he was taken? I don’t know where he is, but if I want to find him I better get moving.
