Bill opened his eyes and realized that it's 7 in the morning. The one who's knocking must be Dorris. He asked her last night to wake him up in case he oversleeps today. They arrived past midnight and he was not sure if he can wake up early the next day. He took his cellphone and messaged her.
"I'm already awake. Thank you."
