Before I knew it, my wedding day rolled around. This celebration was way grander than my first one had ever been. Ethan stood at the altar, waiting for me as I made my way down the aisle. The elderly officiant held a Bible in one hand, his face crinkling with a warm smile. "Ms. Hale, do you take Mr. Linde to be your husband, to stand by his side for the rest of your life?" Amidst the roar of cheers from the crowd, I grinned and nodded my head. "I do." Ethan slid the wedding band onto my ring finger. A new chapter had finally replaced the old, broken one. Wedding cannons boomed high into the sky. Our friends and family in the pews started whooping and hooting. "Kiss her! Kiss her!" I spotted a faint pink flush creeping up the tips of Ethan's ears, and his grip on my hand tightened
