19 ~Mia~ I didn’t look back, even when I heard Ayden yelling my name. All he wanted to do was argue. It was his way of lashing out at me. He felt powerless and didn’t know how to channel that anger. I understood that feeling because it’s exactly how I felt when I learned the horrible truth about Wesley. Making my way through the crowd, I kept the tequila bottle tucked under my arm, holding it like a running back would hold a football. The right-hand bar was the goal line.
