POV: Haven
"What the hell is going on here?" Jake glares at Axel. Axel gets up, leaving me cold. I was enjoying talking to him. His fur was so soft and warm. I shiver now that he's gone. I watch as he walks up the stairs.
"Haven, explain, right now!" My mother demands. I crossed my arms and looked away from her. She can't demand answers from me. I deserve answers. They lied to me!
"You're really going to ignore me? Young lady, you answer me right now!" Mom pushes. I continue to ignore her demands. "Mom, it's obvious. She knows, and she is upset," Nathan says in an attempt to help.
