"Good morning everyone. I apologize for class being canceled on Monday. But we are all here today." Raphael announces to the class. I'm finally back. The pain is at a bare minimum. If Raphael knew I was still feeling pain he would have made me stay home today, but I can nearly feel it. It is very dull.
"Part of communication requires us to be ready at any time to speak. In this hat are each of your names. I'm going to randomly pull one out. When I do, you are to present your speech," Raphael instructed.
My stomach churns in nervousness. Please, don't pick my name. "Julia Pines, stand up and come to the front of the classroom." Relief fills me. Raphael walks to the back of the classroom and sits next to me. Why is he sitting next to me?
