A few days after we moved to this location, I wandered off into the forest seeking a little peace away from the chaos of our living situation. Eventually, I stumbled upon the most peaceful and surreal view.
I found a hill that overlooked a part of the forest covered with flowers along with trees scattered about them. Woodland animals would wander by me, uncaring that I was there. To me, this felt as close as I'd ever get to finding the Garden of Eden.
The large rock that sat perfectly atop the hill served as my not-so-cushioned spot to sit for hours on end.
