Ruby I felt like I could no longer ask if he would hurt me or not. That wasn't a chance I wanted to take. Suddenly, I tripped and almost fell. His hold on my arm quickly tightened, and he pulled me up. He didn't stop and continued pulling me before I properly had my footing again. The woods around us were thick, even thicker than where Xavier lived, and I almost collided into him as he suddenly stopped.
