I listened to the humans' screams echoing from multiple rooms throughout the castle. Little did they know, no one would ever hear their cries. Their pitiful wailing was like sweet music to the ones who could actually hear them.
I stopped by an open door and looked inside, watching as a Bleeder stabbed a woman in her throat before latching onto her neck. It stuck his claws into the woman's gut and ripped her throat open with its fangs, its head leaning back as it licked its blood-coated lips.
The woman's teary eyes were on me, and she merely winced, almost dead, as a second Bleeder ripped her left leg clean off. A third Bleeder then attacked the second Bleeder, and a fight ensued between the hairless rats.
