Chapter9- Seeing the amour

1007 Words
After stepping out of the car, Daphne followed John to the private restaurant. When they entered the lobby, the clerk at the front desk came forward with sharp eyes and showed them to the backyard with a smile. Into the backyard, elegant layout was not like a restaurant, but they were like into a small courtyard south of the Yangtze river. Daphne, ignoring the beauty of the courtyard and taking her eyes off the floor, arrived with John in the restaurant's VIP wing. At the door of the wing, the person heard footsteps outside the corridor, and a pair of slender hands pushed the sliding door open gently. A tall figure appeared from behind the door. Seeing Daphne and John approaching, his handsome face raised a faint smile, like the moonlight in the night, which moistened the hearts of the group. Daphne narrowed her eyes slightly. Even if the man in front of her didn't say anything, and he just picked a little bit of a smile on his eyebrows, which could make her feel like spring breeze. How could she not be attracted to a man who brought tenderness into his bones when she was only in touch with those who treated her as a child's pet? And in the face of this man, even if he just used that pair of clear black eyes looking at her, there would be a kind of spoil, as if he would put the whole world in his hands to you in front of. When she was young, she could not escape the temptation, but she did not know the eyes of the other side had never exist a trace of love, all the tenderness was a mirror. Therefore, after discovering the man's affair with Griselda, she only thought about Griselda's fault and hated her. "A few days later, our young lady didn't know me?" Edmund felt a slight surprise as he saw Daphne not pester him as she had been before. But he kept smiling. After years of hearing Edmund speak in such a familiar tone, Daphne paused for a moment, then lowered his head and silently led the way toward the wing. Edmund turned incredulously to John, who shook his head at him helplessly. Edmund spoke to the clerk and walked back to the wing with John. Inside, Daphne had taken off her coat and was sipping tea on the table. Her slender fingers twirled the cup, her body leaning back slightly, her drooping eyes showing some languor. With this demure Daphne, Edmund felt very strange. The atmosphere fell silent as Edmund peered at Daphne. He pulled the chair to Daphne's right and sat down. Edmund, taking his mind off the surprise, sat down opposite Daphne. "Daphne, I heard from John that you refused to go to Y city with your grandpa?" Ten years ago, Edmund didn't feel too uncomfortable even when he asked directly. Even looking at the gentleness on the other person's face gave the impression that he was on to something. Daphne held her folded hands on the cup, her fingers slipping into the flesh of her other hand. She lifted her chin and a familiar smile spread across her face. "No, I changed my mind. I decided to go to Y city with my grandpa." Now she didn't have the wherewithal to turn against Edmund, but that day would come. Edmund winked at John out of sight of Daphne and got an apologetic look. So what was supposed to be a little dinner of Daphne ended up being a friendly exchange between Edmund and John. Although Daphne's silence during the dinner was unusual, the two men took it as the other's awkwardness about going to the other province. An hour and a half later, the three men walked out of the wing. Just as she stepped out of the wing, Daphne saw Griselda's shadow, fleeting, at the end of the hallway. She thought it was weird. Why was Griselda here? Was it an appointment with Edmund? She would see what she was going to do. "John, my classmate just texted me to go to the balcony next door. You and Daphne should go first." Daphne was even more taken aback by Edmund's remarks, but she "cleverly" left the private restaurant with John. * On the way back, Daphne got off John's car in the name of shopping on the way. Later, she bought some simple props in the nearby shopping mall to cover herself up a little, stopped a taxi and returned to the private restaurant. On the way, Daphne, who showed no hint of char, walked slowly into the dining room. Arriving at the door of the next room, Daphne was surprised to find that the door had not been completely closed. She was worried that the soundproof effect of the room was too good and she could not get the information she wanted. She reached out carefully to widen the opening of the sliding door, Daphne pressed her face against it, her face turning red as she caught sight of it. In the room, Griselda was sprawled on the table, her long hair, which had been pulled back, pushed up over her neck, with skirts, stockings and panties scattered under her feet. Edmund, on the other hand, kept his clothes uncrumpled. He didn't even take off his trousers. He just loosened the belt around his waist to reveal the “weapon”. Edmund kept rubbing his hands on Griselda's chest. His lower body jostled inside Griselda. Daphne, who saw the reality show for the first time, froze on the spot as she made "popping noises" and Griselda's purr. Then, a crash loud enough to penetrate the door panel reached Daphne's ear. Looking at the two people who were caught in the rhythm and shaking of passion inside, Daphne's flushed face had turned pale, and her hands on the door rolled up and clenched into fists. Gradually, in the increasingly irrepressible moans of Griselda, her strong dislike flooded into her eyes.
