Chapter5- Dust settled

1125 Words
"Edmund, you don't have a heart! You can't tell the difference between an empty feeling and a false one!" Clement replied, "haha, do you think Griselda really loves you? I have seen many women like her, but you have money to cling to you. There is no one who loves you more than my sister! Poor you! Sad!!! Alas!” Edmund was angry at this. He couldn't stand the way his defeated opponent was now taunting him. "Don't blame me for being unkind, when you're dead and stubborn. I can tell you one more thing. How do you think your mother died?” Clement's pupil dilated, "it's you! It’s you! You did it!” "How? Stop being stubborn? Of course I did. I got someone to call her and tell her where your sister is, and I got someone to go to the White Enterprise and make trouble for you. I bribed the son of your servant to break Mr. White's brake. He set up a roadblock on the road she had to pass. She couldn't stop herself, so she crashed into him. Ha ha ha ha ha..." Suddenly knowing so much truth, Clement's heart was already numb with pain. My mother... My sister... You were all killed by Edmund... Clement looked up again, and there was red blood under his eyes. He looked at the man's proud face, and remembered that his sister had chased after him but received no response. He remembered that Mr. White had loved him like a son before. Now it looked as funny as the story of the farmer and the snake. Who knew the friends they had been in contact with were as insidious and dark as snakes. Edmund had cost him so many lives, and he had to make Edmund pay for his mother and sister, too. With that in mind, Clement looked around, and there's a fruit knife in the fruit bowl on the table. He grabbed the knife and stabbed Edmund. Edmund didn't dodge, but he stabbed him in the chest. The pain was so bad that with one leg of his own body, Edmund kicked Clement out of the way, picked up the ashtray from the table and held it up to Clement's head. Clement was hit so hard that his forehead bled and he fainted. Seeing that Clement was already incapacitated, Edmund grabbed his wounds, suffered the pain, and staggered to the door to ask for help. He had only just opened the office door when Clement, who had just woken up, attacked him again. Clement was killed and had a knife inserted in his heart from his back. Edmund died and Clement finally got his revenge. He knew he was going to jail, and he had no intention of hiding. He had lost everything: his family, his career, his friends, all had vanished like a dream. He sat quietly where Edmund had been, looking out the window at the world, the city, which he had trodden under his feet again. After he got through 911 and turned himself in, he began to count down his time. He would soon lose the sunshine of freedom. What he didn't know was that he was accompanied by the ghost of his sister Daphne, who held him tenderly but he couldn't feel it. Daphne, crying silently, watched as Clement was led away, handcuffed and escorted to the police car. Never would she had known that for decades Whites and Greens were involved in something that ended like this. Friends who had been friends for years became enemies who hated each other. She wished god would give her a chance to change all that. After that, she lost consciousness. When she woke up again, she found herself back at the age of 17, when everything had just started. She had the mercy of heaven, and now it was time for her revenge. * She spent the afternoon sorting through her memories, and when she came down to earth, Mrs. Kenton was knocking on the door and asking her to go out to dinner. She got out of bed and flexed her body. It was good to feel like she had her own body again. Daphne went to the wardrobe, opened it and picked out what she was going to wear today. She remembered that once she was wearing a white dress and Edmund was playing with her. Edmund said she looked good, so she changed all the clothes in the closet to a white dress. She wanted to be the purest angel in Edmund's heart. It's funny, but in the end Edmund liked the artsy Griselda. Birds of a feather flock together. This girl would not dress up according to his taste later! These eyesore white dresses needed to be replaced! From memory, Daphne picked Dior haute couture's Burgundy dress, which she paired with a rose gold and diamond necklace, and a pair of black suede heels from the cloakroom. Previously she was used to being played as an angel, now she was a little devil to revenge. And she was born with a strong, voluptuous face, bright features, and an air like a rose. Her natural beauty had been partly concealed by the fact that she had been dressed up like a budding lily. It was such extreme and powerful red and black, set off her skin as white as snow, as bright as stars. She looked at herself in the mirror and struck a few happy poses before finally deciding to go downstairs and eat. She looked at herself in the mirror and struck a few happy poses before finally deciding to go downstairs and eat. Daphne went down the stairs. She saw Mr. White reading the evening paper and talking with Mrs. White about the news of the day. As soon as she came down, she heard Mr. White saying, "recently, international exchange rates have fluctuated a lot, and our export tax has been increased again... " When Mrs. White saw Daphne, her eyes lit up, "ouch Honey! How do you look so beautiful today! Is this going out to meet your brother Edmund?" Mr. White was not happy to hear that," Honey, wasn't it a bad day? Don't go out and play with Edmund. Your mother made chicken soup for you. After that you cannot got cold. You'd better keep it at home.” With that, Mr. White muttered to himself, "hum! I don't want that brat to take my precious daughter away, no way." Mrs. White could not help but know Mr. White's little thoughts. She glared at Mr. White in a funny way. "Honey, it's time to wash your hands and eat. Mom brings you chicken soup."
