The Aftermath
Bayo, Sade, and Florence walked out of the warehouse, holding each other tightly. They had finally defeated Blessings and saved their daughter from her evil clutches.
As they walked away from the warehouse, they saw the ambulances arriving. The officers and paramedics rushed towards them, asking if they were okay.
Bayo and Sade nodded, still in shock from the ordeal. They handed Florence over to the paramedics, who checked her vital signs and gave her oxygen.
"She's going to be okay," one of the paramedics said, smiling. "But we need to get her to the hospital to make sure."
Bayo and Sade nodded, following the paramedics to the ambulance. They got in, holding Florence's hands as the ambulance drove away from the warehouse.
As they arrived at the hospital, they were met by a team of doctors and nurses who rushed Florence into the emergency room. Bayo and Sade followed, their hearts racing with worry.
But after what felt like an eternity, the doctor came out, smiling. "She's going to be okay," he said. "She's suffered some trauma, but we'll take care of her."
Just then, Detective James walked into the hospital room, a big smile on his face. He had a bandage on his leg and couldn't walk very well, but he didn't need to say what had happened. Bayo and Sade had been there, and they knew that he had been wounded in the battle against Blessings.
"Hey there," he said, greeting them warmly. "I heard you guys were doing well. That's great news."
Bayo and Sade nodded, still looking a bit shaken. "Yeah, we're doing okay," Bayo said. "Thanks to you, we're alive."
Detective James shrugged. "It was all part of the job," he said. "But I have some good news. Blessings has been sentenced to fifty (50 )years in prison."
Sade's eyes widened in surprise. "That's amazing," she said. "We're so grateful."
Detective James nodded. "And it gets even better," he said. "The other family that Blessings had targeted has come forward, and they're pressing charges too. She'll be facing even more time in prison."
Bayo and Sade exchanged a look of relief. They had been through a traumatic experience, but they had come out on top. And they knew that they owed it all to Detective James.
"Thank you," Bayo said, shaking the detective's hand. "We owe you our lives."
Detective James smiled. "Just doing my job," he said. "But I'm glad I could help. You guys deserve to be happy, and I'm glad I could help make that happen."
As they chatted, Florence woke up from her sleep, looking around in confusion. Bayo and Sade rushed to her side, hugging her tightly.
"Hey there, sweetie," Bayo said. "How are you feeling?"
Florence looked up at them, her eyes still a bit dazed. "I'm okay," she said. "What happened?"
Sade smiled. "You're safe now," she said. "The bad lady is in prison, and we're all safe."
Florence nodded, still looking a bit confused. But as she looked at her parents, she smiled. "Mummy, Daddy where is my teddy bear and candy sweet," she said.
Bayo and Sade hugged her tightly, tears of joy streaming down their faces.
