After the most amazing s*x, Thea laid on the bank of thr stream with her head on his chest. Soon, she fell asleep again. When she woke up, he was gone and so were the restock the wolves. Was that all a dream?, she wondered. No, it was real. We found our mate, but who is he? Where is he? Who were all the others? Why were they here? Are we in danger? Jade questioned. Once she stretched a bit, she shifted back into her wolf to make the run back home. Desperately needing a shower and some clothes, she didn't want to waste any time. The other wolves could be hiding in the forest just out of site. While showering, she thought back to all that had happened over the short 24 hours. She turned 18, found her mate, shifted twice and slept with him. Yet, she didn't know who he was or even his name. As she got out, she wrapped one towel around her body and another around her hair and stepped out into her bedroom to get dressed. There, laying on her purple comforter, was her mate, no longer naked. "s**t! How did you get through boarder patrol, let alone into my house?" Thea yelled. Smirking, "Easy really, they don't watch the trees." His eyes showed just a hint of annoyance. "I'm going to get dressed, then I want to continue this." Thea responded, not playing into his game. After grabbing her clothes as quickly as possible and running to the bathroom to dress, she slid to the floor to get her bearings. "Whats your na-" he was gone. Again. What the hell? Not again...What are we supposed to do? Jade asked her. Breakfast was ready downstairs, smelling the delicious bacon, French toast and eggs; she decided to make the best of the morning. Heading down, she stopped short, her mate was sitting at the table eating with her family and the rest of the pack. As he smiled up at her again, it felt like time froze, everyone watched the two of them. Some looked confused, some didn't think anything of it, and some realized that they were mates. "Alright. What in the actual f*ck is going on? How are you down here like you've lived here your whole life? Am I missing something here?" Thea felt exhausted all of a sudden. "Language!" Her mother, Rose, scolded her. "This is Troy. He has been exploring the area, looking for a place to settle down and he came across into our town." "That's not the only thing he's c*m in lately..." she mumbled. "Well as least I know your name now I guess. So where are you from?" she interrogated as she made her plate. "Actually I've never had a set home. Which is why I would like a place to call my own. With my mate." Troy remarked, lying to them. He has a home in the pack that is closest to here, about 150 miles away, at the base of the mountains edge. Spitting out her orange juice, Thea glared at him. "You have a mate?" Rose looked between the pair confused. "Is there something wrong?" With the most arrogant look on his face, Troy calmly stated " There's no problem at all, of course I have a mate, I just found her yesterday morning as a matter of fact." Upon hearing this, Thea's father, Gene, entered the dining room. "Thank God! I was getting worried you were going to try to find a mate from my pack." "Would that be a problem, sir? I wouldn't mind settling down and living with a mountain view in my backyard." Troy said. Laughing, Gene plainly told Troy how they've never accepted a new member to the pack since it formed. It just wasn't something that was done. The unmated becoming warriors to protect the pack and date until they find someone that they are happy enough with to produce pups. Now, both Thea and Troy sat there shocked. Thea knew this was how things went, but hearing it about her own mate felt different. Troy had never heard of a pack that didn't bring in new members from time to time, especially when it was a mate of their pack member. That will make it that much easier to bring her back with us. His wolf thought.
