Awaking this morning with the sun shining brought a smile to my face. I had the most wonderful dream about the beach and Matt. But then it hit me. That wasn't going to happen any time soon. My next few weeks, even months, were already set in stone. Dr. Hanna had us booked for months. I never realized how many children need heart surgeries. I guess it is something you don't think about until you live it.
I did get to talk to Sarah for the first time in a long time. She sounds really happy and she told me Curtis was happy and his mate was a real sweetheart. At first, I wasn't sure how to feel about it, but then I could feel his happiness, and I was relieved. I always knew in my inner self that Curtis was a fling and not my mate.
