CHAPTER TEN - JANUARY, 1992
We talked on the phone late on New Year’s day for almost an hour and a half. During this conversation, she told me a lot more about the man she had been seeing. I did not ask how intimate they had been in case I did not like the answer, but it was a question which constantly caused me some anxiety. In truth, I did not mind how many friends she had as long as she reserved her love and intimacy just for me.
