Cael's face suddenly darkened because of what Damon had said. Even though the kid's visage was expressionless, his pair of eyes were so dead and those words were so lifeless when they came out of the child's mouth. Cael clutched his chest tightened for no apparent reason. He didn't think Damon's words would have such an impact on him.
"So, tell me who I really am? You seem to know the real me. I want your honesty."
Damon said that even though Cael could no longer see the inside of the Dead Village because the Black Hole had completely swallowed it like a giant dome, he could still hear the child's calm voice.
"I can't tell you."
Cael responded that the child heaves and audible sighs. Even though they can no longer see him but they feel like the kid was just in front of them.
