ABIGAIL POV:
After a short drive and being roughly moved by some burly men I step into the huge mansion on Greenwood estate. I was led to the living room by Nina the housekeeper until I was standing in front of Mason’s mother, I think her name is Sophia. At the sound of our footsteps Sophia raised her eyes to watch us come into the room.
“Madame, Mrs. Abigail is here.” Nina speaks quietly to Sophia before leaving the room.
“So, you’re Abigail,” she states with a huff before looking me up and down with sharp eyes. I’ve become accustomed to devilish older women, and I stand up tall.
