MASON POV:
I was filling out an urgent document when Wayne came into my office to tell me of the failed bid. I’m unsure how to feel about this news and instead look at him and change the subject. My voice is cold as always.
“Did you complete my request? What are the results?” I ask him. He pauses and looks surprised at the change of subject but nods and replies.
“The report will be finalized tomorrow morning.”
“I want it on my desk as soon as it is ready.” I reply, looking at my watch. I gather my bag and suit coat and quickly head to the door with Wayne a step behind me.
