Later that evening I saw two figures enter my room, one tiny and the other large, just as I had expected. They go and sit on the sofa that folds out to a bed in the corner of the room and they begin to play with Legos. The scene is so harmonious I can’t help but smile at how calm and happy the room is with Mia’s laughter.
