THE CONVERTED BARN HAD been painted the same deep green as the shutters of the house and trimmed in white. Inside, Stephan had borrowed the color scheme of her kitchen—shades of green and cream. Green marbled tiles covered the floors, and green director chairs lined three of the cream and pale green striped walls of the waiting room.
