Chapter 10Sometime during the night, Rory had either moved onto his side or been turned there. That’s where he woke up—lying on his side with Danny spooned against him, their bodies tight together on the couch, but somehow more comfortable than Rory had ever been in his life. The couch blanket had been pulled over them, but it had been more than enough for the mild night. With all the care that he could manage, Rory worked himself from behind Danny, awkwardly trying a non-disruptive retreat that was most likely pointless.
