Chapter 3Blake stared at the man across from him and wondered if he could move quickly enough to get the gun. Not to hurt the man, of course, but to use the weapon as a threat and get the f**k out of this scene. The man had been wrong, this was no Rebel Without a Cause, for God’s sake, it was some kind of comedy. Maybe a slow-burn horror. The man was toying with him, and Blake couldn’t figure out why. He was most likely getting off on it, but the idea that he intended on cutting Blake into pieces and using him for firewood wasn’t off the table.
