It was almost more than she could process. Val had once been a simple kid, living on the street with nothing but helplessness and violence behind her. That is when she met the strange and enigmatic man who had no name beyond being called the Nomad. He took pity on her and decided instead of making her a meal; he would make her a vampire.
To one who had only a fragmented part of a life, the idea of an immortal battlefield of eat or be eaten had a lot to be desired.
