Chapter 15
Things had been moving quickly, as fast as the rebellion put together their forces it seemed that the other side did the same. The crux of the problem would not be manpower, it would not be strength. Val and her team had to figure out what the Fulcrums endgame was and only then would they have a way to stop it. There had been raids to the mountain area surrounding the fortress and the group was out trying to intercept one of the raiders. If they could capture one there might be some way to find out what was going on. Thoughts of the strange judge flowed through Val’s head. Whoever he was, he was likely the key to things.
Val had seen signs of one of these raiders and headed off after him and it wasn’t until she had made it far into the mountains when she realized she had
