I awoke the next morning with a start, quickly scrambling to see if Ares was there, I felt a strange wave of disappointment that he wasn't. I could hardly even be sure that he was there in the first place, given how tired I was, but I had a silly grin on my face nonetheless.
Beep, beep, beep
Grabbing my phone quickly, I saw a text from Mandy.
M: Hey sleepyhead, where you at? Feels like forever since you've been home. You getting it on with those gorgeous hunks yet?!!
My cheeks burned as I pressed the call button. No way was I going to try explain everything over text. She answered on the first ring.
